When I was a kid, my room was full of plants. Later I got my small backyard and few years after my backyard, I got summer cottage, where I created my own forest garden.

By Finnish hardiness zone map my backyard garden zone is 1B and in my summer cottage I would say it is zone 3. By looking USDA plant hardiness zone map, I would say we live in zone 6a. Europe hardiness zones, my zone 5.
Houseplants
My gardening started from houseplants and one day it will end for that. Everyone can have houseplant, never the less of the size of your house.
Backyard
When I got my backyard, I got opportunity to create my own little peace of paradise in my backyard.
Forest Garden
Summerhouse brought me into wild nature. I am most proud of my rhododendrons.

My other blogs:
http://ovitz.vuodatus.net, I started my first blog 2008, but 2012 server failed down and it was down about one month. Blog’s outlook broke and it never really recovered.There are still left old posts, quite much posts of forest garden, unfortunately only in Finnish. Anyway I continued my blog in http://ovitz.blogspot.fi/ and it is still there with updates of my dogs. I had my garden posts here 2014-2015 and now they are in https://iloakasveista.blogspot.fi/.
Gardener’s prayer
Lord, grant that in some way it may rain every day,
Say from about midnight until three o’clock in the morning,
But, You see, it must be gentle and warm so that it can soak in;
Grant that at the same time it would not rain on campion, alyssum, helianthus, lavendar, and others which
You in Your infinite wisdom know are drought-loving plants-
I will write their names on a bit of paper if you like-
And grant that the sun may shine the whole day long,
But not everywhere (not, for instance, on the gentian, plantain lily, and rhododendron) and not too much;
That there may be plenty of dew and little wind, enough worms, no lice and snails, or mildew,
and that once a week thin liquid manure and guano may fall from heaven.
Amen.
